This event lasts one week, the one over the 22 nd of July which is MM feast day. The festivities are organized in the respect of Charles’ 2nd wishes who dicted the guidelines when he discovered the relics in 1279. Since the first Festival in 1280, for 744 years now, our ancestors before us, and us now, are maintaining the cult as it was at the very beginning.
Every year we have wonderful feasts which draw a lot of people. Mary Magdalene is the patron saint of Provence, and the second patron saint of France.
